No, the application does not collect or send any data.

Unfortunately, there is not a list of all process names associated with a game out there that I can use to populate. The process name is not as simple as just the game name. As the process name is really just the .exe file name but can be made to be anything. For example, The Last of Us Part 1 uses tlou-i. You can submit a request to add the process name for a game here.

  1. Make sure that the process name for a game is filled out correctly on the “game” view. This is the executable name of the game minus the “.exe” portion.
  2. Make sure that the process name is correct for that game.
  3. Make sure that Game Save Syncer is running in administrator mode.
  4. Restart the game and try again.

Yes, please submit any issues, bugs, questions, or feature requests here.

In order to find a game, make sure that there is a saved file for that game on your system. You might need to play the game till you get to a save point. Then run the “Find Games” action again.

If it still is not finding it, please submit an issue here.

  • The custom backup configuration is stored inside a customBackupLocations.json text file within %LOCALAPPDATA%\Roobox_Software_LLC. If you are going to have these files in the future and want to retain this configuration. Copy customBackupLocations.json to a safe location and then paste it back into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Roobox_Software_LLC and then restart Game Save Syncer.
